LED 5 in 1 Spotlight

Employee spotlights show potential candidates what it’s like to work at your company. They can also be used to help existing employees get to know each other better.

Although the initial investment of time to select scientists and compose assignment prompts can be a deterrent for some STEM faculty, once established, Spotlight modules require minimal class time to grade and assess. The resulting student learning may be well worth the effort.

Color Temperatures

If you’re replacing halogen bulbs with LEDs for the first time, it can be confusing or frustrating. It’s important to understand the different metrics and points to consider to make an informed and confident purchase.

Color Temperature (or Correlated Color Temperature in lighting tech jargon) is one of the most important factors to consider when selecting an LED spotlight for 5 in 1 spotlight your space. It’s the color of the light and is measured in Kelvin. Lower Kelvin values produce warmer, yellowish light while higher Kelvin value produces more blueish light.

Warmer color temperatures (2700K – 3000K) create a cozy, inviting feel and have more orange or yellow tones. They work well in pendants, wall lanterns or ambient home lighting. Cooler color temperatures (4000K – 5000K) have more blue tints and are more crisp and invigorating. They work best in task lighting like a basement workshop or home office, as well as in commercial and retail spaces.

While this guide is a great start, it’s important to test and observe what color temperature works best for you. It’s all about the ambiance you want to create. You may even want to use a mixture of different color temperatures to suit your needs. If you’re unsure where to start, we recommend starting with 3000K and working your way up or down the spectrum until you find a color that suits you.

CRI

CRI, or Color Rendering Index, is a rating of how well your lighting reproduces different colors. It is based on a scale from 0-100, with 100 representing the best. Our LED strip products have a high CRI, providing beautiful, natural, and true color tones that can really make things stand out. Our LED lights are also ideal for art galleries, where you want to show off paintings and other artwork in their full glory.

The CRI value is calculated by comparing the spectral power distributions (SPD) of the test light source and a set of standard color samples, called reference color samples. The arithmetic mean of the error values between the sample and the reference is then calculated, and normalized by dividing by the total number of errors. This removes the influence of any single large deviation, as humans may not notice such a large error as much as a small one.

The standard CRI metric uses eight color samples, which is a poor choice for evaluating lights with complex spectra, 2 Inch Led Work Light such as those used in modern LED lamps. For this reason, some professionals recommend using a newer metric such as the Fidelity Index or IES TM-30-20 including Gamut Area Index instead of the outdated CRI.

Lumens

When shopping for LED spotlights, it’s important to consider the lumens. Before switching to LEDs, watts were the primary way to measure bulb brightness; a 60 watt bulb was brighter than a 40 watt bulb. However, watts only indicate how much electrical energy is used, not how much light is produced. With that in mind, you should always look for the lumens on the product specification sheet or packaging.

Powered by a massive 4400mAh battery, this rechargeable flashlight delivers a staggering 5000 lumens and 7 adjustable brightness modes to illuminate your surroundings in a wide range of scenarios. It’s also equipped with a foldable tripod and built-in side light to provide increased functionality.

This outdoor spotlight is the ideal lighting solution for landscape and garden projects. The 3 COB (chips-on-board) LEDs produce up to 250 lumens with a spot beam pattern that illuminates hardscape features, trees, gardens and driveways with an even glow. The waterproof fixture comes complete with a ground stake and connector clip to easily connect it to your existing low voltage lighting system. The LED technology provides minimal energy usage with a long 40,000-hour life span. The 3000 Kelvin color temperature gives a natural-looking white light, and the LEDs are virtually maintenance free. The light can also be mounted on wooden structures like gazebos or decks to highlight the surrounding space.
